The Fall 1999 issue of Portfolio marks the debut of a new look and new name for

Beginning in the year 2001, the Foundation will focus on a total of eight priority
areas: Diversity in the Health Professions, Environmental Health, Healthy Aging, Mental
Health, Teenage Pregnancy Prevention, Violence Prevention, Women's Health, and Work and
Health. This decision was made by TCWF's board of directors as part of an ongoing
strategic planning process. For a list of the Foundation's current priority areas, please
see page twelve.
