About The Author
David B. Littlefield is a communications officer at The California Wellness Foundation and has been responsible for developing and implementing the annual communications strategy for the Foundation’s Champions of Health Professions Diversity Award since it first debuted in 2003. He also edits and oversees production of the Foundation’s annual report and Reflections, a series published by TCWF to share lessons learned and information gleaned from its grantmaking. Previously, he edited the Foundation’s Portfolio newsletter for five years. Prior to joining the Foundation, he worked in fund development at The Los Angeles Free Clinic. Littlefield holds a bachelor’s degree from Vassar College. He is a member of the Communications Network affinity group of the Council on Foundations.
